We all know of sexism. We’ve lived with it since day one. But we often don’t talk about ageism (discrimination based on age) and its relation to sexism. Why are older men seen as silver foxes while older women are cast aside? We explore the key issues.
We constantly talk about the menopause as being stigmatised, without really discussing how stigmas are created, why there is a stigma around the menopause, and how it can be undone. But first, let’s explore what a stigma really is.
