Thank you to all that joined me on my second MegsMenopause conference in London. Thank you to the headline sponsors that made this possible as well: Fruitflow, Vichy, Lumen and Soak and Sleep! Thank you!
Taking place at Central Hall Westminster, it was a day of taboo-busting, open conversation and the latest in scientific research on the menopause. My guest speakers and I will aimed to break the stigma of the menopause by empowering women with the knowledge and confidence to take on this time of their lives.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
In 2018 I hosted the very first MegsMenopause conference which guest speakers and experts included: specialist menopause nurse and chair of the British Menopause Society Kathy Abernethy, founder of Menopause Matters Dr Heather Currie and renowned gynaecologist Dr Sara Matthews (BBC One The Truth About The Menopause). They were joined by the Daisy Network charity who are the foremost authority on premature menopause and Women Health Concern (WHC).
On the 2019 edition of MM conference I was also proudly supporting Daisy Network charity and was really pleased with the quality of our guests speakers and what an amazing engaging audience. Some of the speakers included Dr Louise Newson and Dr Saadia Meyer, menopause experts that covered the clinical side of the Menopause and how to get the best support throughout this journey. Additionally I also had Carolyn Gaskin opening the conference with me, to break the ice in the room so many of the attendees that bravely made it to the conference alone didn’t have to be feeling alone. The built up atmosphere was excellent, and I had life coach Michelle Zelli closing the session with an amazing talk on Women Empowerment and how you can shape yourself to reach better version of yourself.
I look forward to host my next conference in London for the 2020 edition and currently working on some more exciting projects which I want to share with you soon!
