Bio-Live Women contains an abundance of microbial strains to support a healthy gut. Microbz ferment these with traditional herbs and minerals that have been used for centuries to maintain health. These extra ingredients act as a toolbox for the microbes, which extract nutrients from the supplement and deliver them to the body as and where it needs them. Some key ingredients are:

- Shatavari, which has a nourishing and purifying effect on the female reproductive organs and is suggested for use throughout the many phases of womanhood. It has traditionally been used to strengthen female fertility and can also provide nourishment during pregnancy to both the mother and foetus. Shatavari can even help stabilise a woman’s body and emotions throughout her moon or menstrual cycle.

- Maca root can help boost energy, endurance and stamina. It supplies iron which helps red blood cells transport oxygen around the body and therefore reduces tiredness and fatigue. It is also traditionally known as an adaptogen to support and help balance the body, particularly during times of stress, as well as providing key vitamins and nutrients for helping relieve menstrual symptoms.

- Dong Quai is known as the “female ginseng”, dong quai has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to treat a wide range of female issues including; menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhoea (painful periods), premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and anaemia.

What does it do for you

Each bottle contains 15 carefully selected bacterial strains mostly from the Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium families, delivering billions of beneficial bacteria to the gut. It also contains 18 herbs and minerals carefully selected by a medical herbalist to balance hormones.

Where does it go

All Bio-Live products deliver microbes to the whole gastrointestinal tract. They repair the gut lining, aid digestion and help to soothe inflammation. They are brewed to the same acidity as the stomach (3.2pH) so the bacteria can reach the lower intestines alive and ready to work.
