Today we are going to be talking about the ultimate form of self-love…masturbation!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I don’t have any problem talking about this subject. Because honestly it’s something that is completely natural and there’s no need for any of us to be embarrassed. After all, ladies, let’s admit it…we’ve all done it! Personally, for me, I’ve been doing it from a young age in my teens, and I’ve been doing it all the way through to my 50’s. However, ever since I noticed my libido starting to drop, one of the things I noticed is how much harder it was to climax, especially with a partner. This is where masturbation really comes in handy (pardon the pun).

Masturbation is great as it lets you enjoy yourself at your own pace, and most importantly allows you to focus on clitoral stimulation, which 60% of women need in order to achieve orgasm. One of my favourite tools for this, of course, is my rose gold bullet. It fits in my bag, can hide it easily in my bedside table, and most importantly it provides the stimulation I need to feel amazing. However, let’s not forget that with loss of libido and the menopause, in general, comes it faithful companion Vaginal Dryness (isn’t being a woman fun?). For this, I would recommend using a really lovely lubricant to help things stay nice and moist. I’d obviously recommend my Motion Lotions (oil and water-based), but in general, the lubricants you should be looking for are mild, and gentle and are free from any scents and flavours. These extra chemicals will only irritate and dry out your vagina in the long run, and for women already suffering from dryness and sensitivity, this is something we really don’t need.
